It appears that the Deep Maps team will be making a return visit to the beautiful site of Lough Hyne this month as part of Heritage Week 2016. We will be lending a hand with the annual “Touch Tanks at Lough Hyne” event, a collaboration between Skibbereen Heritage Centre and our principal investigator Dr. Rob McAllen. This event is free to all and will give the public a chance to engage with marine species from the Lough and to learn more about the marine environment.
Join UCC marine biologists as they interpret marine species from Lough Hyne. Touch and feel underwater creatures from the tanks while you learn about them from the scientists.
